Curly V's F/w Concept Installation

Missing teeth anyone?... As of this Fall Curly V can solve that for ya! For the second time I've been welcomed to the Ace Gallery to catch a Concept installation by this LA based designer, and each time I've found myself excited and wanting more. As I entered this installation I was instantly feeling these trippy eccentric vibes. Almost forgot where I was for a second. Now quick rewind to his last fall collection where the scale of his prints were a lot larger and very dominant in size, this F/W that has changed, but you will still continue to see this Velvour fabric in it's current saturation. I would love to have that skirt in my closet.. Ahh can't wait to see whats next for Curly!

LAFW

My very good friend Marissa 

On March 10th I attended Day 2 of Concept LAFW over at the Ace Gallery on Wilshire. As for LAFW In my perspective, this is by far the event I must attend. I deeply appreciate getting up close to garment and being able to admire the piece rather than a quick ten seconds down the runway. Also with the designer being present it's an amazing opportunity for a quick chat/photo (However I got neither haha) . But seriously... how often do you see garments and the designer in the same room? Gotta love that!My next two post will focus on my two favorite installations so stay tuned!

I've finally grown the courage to start my own blog. After all this blog contemplation, I'm finally here finding myself in a very peaceful and exciting place. For the record, my name is Latrice Carter, I'm 18 & from LA.
